Starting in ONE HOUR: Let-It-Out Zoom
Join your fellow Trauerkloß at 1:30 EDT to share what's on your mind. Plus, mourner cosplaying.
Well, the world keeps getting more and more interesting, doesn’t it? Need an outlet? Join us TODAY at 1:30 EDT (hooray for finally being able to include that glorious “D”! As my dad used to say, you can’t lose ‘em all) for our weekly “Let It Out” Zoom.
I wouldn’t remotely describe myself as a 24/7 Trauerkloß (damn, the Germans really are masters of language). But it’s normal and understandable to be that one in the room at times. And I’m going to adopt this word as a term of affection within this community (really, how often can I say “grievers”?) and encourage you to do the same.
To give our many new subscribers a sense for what it can feel like to be in connection with others, share what’s on their minds, ask some questions, or just…sit for a minute in an empathetic space, I’m opening today’s Zoom to everyone receiving this email. Maybe you’ll even make a new friend; it happened last time!
What I’m reading

🌸 Kristen Forbes’ satirical reflection on how to celebrate Spring when your person is, well, dead.
